Human + AI Collaboration
Defining where AI reasons, software executes, and humans retain authority.
The broader theme connecting these projects is not replacing every human activity with AI.
It is determining where AI should reason, where software should execute, and where humans should remain in control.
The systems I am exploring generally follow three principles:
AI for reasoning and understanding.
Use language models to interpret requests, understand context, plan work, summarize information, and assist with decisions.
Deterministic systems for execution.
Use APIs, workflows, validation engines, policy controls, and strongly defined tools for actions that affect real systems.
Humans for authority and judgment.
Maintain human approval for sensitive operations, exceptions, security decisions, and high-impact changes.
The result is a model where humans, AI agents, and traditional software work together rather than attempting to make one system responsible for everything.
